Is the homepage mockup really free?
Yes. I will create a free homepage mockup so you can see a website direction before deciding whether to move forward.
Is it a full free website?
No. It is a temporary live homepage preview, not a complete free website, finished design package, or file handover.
Do I get the mockup files if I do not continue?
No. The free mockup is shown through a temporary live preview link only. Website files, source files, editable design files, hosting access, and ownership are not transferred unless agreed as part of a paid project.
What is included in the $199 Starter One-Page Site?
The Starter One-Page Site includes one page, up to 5 focused sections, mobile-friendly design, a basic contact section, a basic SEO title and description, one revision round, and simple launch support. You provide the text and images.
Why is the Starter site so affordable?
It stays focused: one page, clear limits, client-provided content, and no agency-style overheads. Extra pages, ecommerce, advanced copywriting, complex animations, and custom features are quoted separately.
Is the $499 Better Business Site custom?
Yes. It is shaped around your business, content, and offer, but it is still a focused small-business website package rather than a custom app, ecommerce build, or unlimited-scope project.
What is the difference between the $199 and $499 options?
The $199 Starter option is a clean one-page website. The $499 Better Business Site is for businesses that need more structure, clearer service and offer detail, a contact form and enquiry CTA, and two revision rounds.
Can you redesign my existing website?
Yes. The Redesign / Glow-Up offer is $249 and is for improving an existing website's look, structure, mobile experience, CTA placement, and basic SEO/meta setup where applicable.
Do these prices include hosting?
Hosting is separate unless your quote says it is included. Better Site can quote hosting or care separately if you want help after launch.
Do these prices include a domain name?
No. Domain names are usually purchased and owned by the client. I can provide guidance or support if it is included in the quote.
Do these prices include SEO?
They include basic SEO setup such as page titles, descriptions, headings, and sensible structure where applicable. They do not guarantee rankings, traffic, leads, enquiries, or sales.
Can I request extra pages or features?
Yes. Extra pages, booking embeds, integrations, ecommerce, custom functionality, advanced forms, and larger redesigns can be quoted separately.
Are there any ongoing costs?
There may be ongoing costs for hosting, domain renewal, email hosting, third-party tools, care plans, edits, or support. These are separate unless your quote says otherwise.
How long does it take?
The free homepage mockup is delivered within 3 business days. Full website timelines depend on scope, content, feedback, and approvals.
Do you only work with Christchurch businesses?
No. I work with businesses across New Zealand.
Do I have to commit after receiving the mockup?
No. There is no pressure and no obligation. If you decide not to continue, the temporary preview link may be removed or expire.
Can we have a call?
Yes. I am available for calls, especially if you want to explain the business, the current website, or what you want the site to help with.
